Instructions to make Twisted jam bun:
  1. In a bowl take maida make well in center add one tbs sugar and dry active yeast and add lukewarm water and mix it well, it will form bubble,now knead the dough using water,initially dough will be sticky but after around ten minutes of kneading it will become soft non sticky dough at this time add butter and salt in kneading bowl and mix it properly with the dough
  2. Now apply butter in the bowl and keep the dough for resting for 45 minutes
  3. After 45 minutes the dough shall rise and become double in size,at this stage punch it and knead it for around a minute
  4. Take a ball of this dough and using maida roll it into chapati,spread jam on this chapati and then cut it into three equal part length wise,roll each part to form a log and then twist each log to form pleats (like we do pleats for hair)
  5. And join it to form round shape
  6. Keep it for resting for 30 minutes,it shall rise into double,apply milk on top
  7. Pre heat oven,and bake these bun at 200 degree for 10 to 15 minutes or till they become golden colour
  8. Once done take out from oven let it cool,apply butter on top
  9. Twisted jam bun ready
